Low-Carb & Keto Appetizer Recipes
I love me some appetizers. Mozzarella sticks, chips and dips, meat boards, cheese, and more cheese. Did I mention cheese? Cheese everything! YUM. But those darling, little finger-foods can wreak havoc on anyone trying to eat healthily, especially those of us wanting to stick to a low-carb menu. So I’ve compiled a list of my favorite low-carb recipes (also, keto-friendly!)

The good news is that it’s actually pretty easy to make a low-carb and keto-friendly appetizer spread. Afterall, meats and cheese are low-carb and are the main staples in app-related recipes. Don’t do meat? No worries, there are recipes here for you as well!
Jamie’s Guacamole Recipe
You can omit the Roma tomatoes and use less than stated in the ingredients to lower the carbs on this recipe! I love this with some pork rinds or low-carb homemade cheese crackers.
Coney Island Bowls
What says fun more than chili and hot dogs? Umm, not much else! With this option, you combine meat chili, hot dogs, and cheese for an All-American dish!
Italian Beef Stuffed Peppers
At only 5g total carbs per serving, you can afford to add this dish to your spread! These are great handhelds for tailgating or appetizers. Tip: If you don’t want to stuff and bake the peppers, you can also cut the peppers lengthwise into strips and throw in with the Italian beef (but you’ll want a fork for this style).
Sausage Ball Puffs
These are great and so easy to make! Buttery and delicious, and perfectly finger-food sized! The recipe is compliments of Kasey Trenum.
Veggie Tray
No recipe required for this one! Chop up your favorite veggies and serve with low-carb dips such as a ranch or spinach dip.
Keto Pizza with a Pork Rind Crust
Of course, pizza made the cut! I really can’t make any kind of food list without including some sort of pizza. I stand by this recipe as being the best low-carb pizza option!
Instant Pot Keto Chili
This is a great one for prepping in advance to throw in the instant pot (or crockpot). This all-meat chili can be served on its own or as a condiment for hot dogs or pork rinds!
Keto Big Mac Cheeseburger Bites
Another appetizer to add to the list! I am a big fan of anything Big Mac-related and when it comes to keto, this recipe is no exception!
Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll-Ups
If the thought of frying something intimidates you, this is the perfect recipe to start with! It’s so easy to make and will put all your frying-anxiety aside. If you decided to ditch the Italian Beef Stuffed Peppers idea, do me a favor and try these instead!
Loaded Cauliflower Tots
An amazing replacement for tater tots and french fries and super easy to make! Tip: you can replace the cauliflower head with a frozen bag of cauliflower for an even easier recipe!
Keto Mozzarella Sticks
Tastes almost like the real deal! Move over Applebees, we’ve got some mozzarella sticks that are gonna rock every low-carb lover’s world. Tip: Please make a day in advance, you will thank me later for this tip.
Buffalo Chicken Bacon Soup
One more soup-related recipe for this post, just in case chili isn’t your thing. This super hearty soup will keep even the hungriest of your gang full.
