On my most recent escape to Orange Beach, Alabama, I checked into a place that set the tone for a laid-back, Gulf-side getaway: Seaside Beach & Racquet Club. The sun was setting as we arrived, and it was clear this stay would be less about schedules and more about sunsets and salty air. We immediately checked out the beach access in front of the resort and took photos of the sunset.
Checking In with Beachball Properties
Our vacation rental was made available through Beachball Properties, a Gulf Coast-based company founded in 2016 and one of the premier vacation choices for Alabama beachfront properties.
One standout detail that deserves a moment in the spotlight: Beachbeach Properties ensures all linens are sanitized and laundered to EPA standards between every single stay. Beachball even owns and operates its own commercial laundry facility. My OCD appreciates this detail!

Inside Seaside Beach & Racquet Club 5715
Our home for the stay was Seaside Beach & Racquet Club 5715, a three-bedroom, two-bath Gulf-view condo on the 7th floor. Designed to comfortably sleep up to seven guests with a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and bunk bedroom (with a full-size bed on top of a twin bunk).
Stepping inside, my eyes were drawn straight toward the Gulf. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to a balcony overlooking Alabama Beaches’ sugar-white sand and endless blue horizon. Mornings come with sunrise colors, and evenings end with colorful sunsets peaking over the Gulf. The main suite is a true highlight, with a king bed, direct Gulf view, and private access to the balcony. I fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves, and it was terrific.
The condo’s layout is especially functional for groups or families. The second bathroom is centrally located and designed with two separate spaces: one with the shower, bathtub, and toilet, and another with the sink. Translation: Two people can get ready at once without being in the way of each other.
There is a stackable washer and dryer that makes packing lighter and beach days easier. Being able to wash swimsuits and sandy clothes mid-trip is one of those underrated vacation wins.

Things To Bring With You to Seaside Beach
While the condo provides some essentials, bringing a few extra items is suggested:
- Extra toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues – the unit has enough for the first few days, but it’s handy to have backups.
- Hand soap for the bathrooms.
- Laundry and dishwasher detergent – one load’s worth is provided; bring extra for longer stays.
- Bottled water, if you prefer filtered water for drinking.
- Coffee, coffee filters, sugar, and creamer – there’s a coffee machine in the condo for your morning brew.
- Beach towels – although bath towels are provided, you’ll need to bring extra towels for beach days
