2024 New Castle Broad Street Cruise-Ins
Every first Saturday between April and October, Downtown New Castle comes alive with the sights, sounds, and excitement of the New Castle Broad Street Cruise-Ins. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Broad Street and 14th Plaza transform into a vibrant hub of classic car enthusiasts, food vendors, and families looking for a delightful evening out.
The New Castle Broad Street Cruise-Ins are not just about cars and entertainment; they are about fostering a sense of community. The event is free and open to all, making it a favorite tradition for families and friends. It’s a perfect way to spend a summer evening in Downtown New Castle, connecting with neighbors and friends.

2024 Fourth Fridays in Downtown New Castle
Every fourth Friday from May through July, charming Downtown New Castle transforms into a community celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. A lineup of live music and some snack-centered food trucks will be available during these events at 14th Plaza. Additionally, as part of the celebration, local shops and restaurants often extend their hours and offer unique community activities.
Fourth Fridays are the perfect time to try out a local eatery and browse downtown. The events are free for residents and visitors to enjoy live music, indulge in delicious food, and support local businesses.
The events begin on Friday, May 24, with the third annual Jack’s Donuts Donut Whole Eating Competition. This Major League Eating-sanctioned event, presented by New Castle Main Street, will feature world-renowned competitive eaters like Joey Chestnut.
Remaining Fourth Friday events are June 28 and July 26.
Live @ The Arts Park Henry County Concert Series
On the third Friday of every month from June through September, the Henry County Art Association presents a free outdoor concert in the Arts Park Pavilion. Concerts begin at 6 p.m., with local artists providing an opening act. Concerts are free, but donations are accepted.
This year’s lineup begins with powerhouse band Flynnville Train on June 21, followed by the nationally known band The Why Store on July 19. Henry Lee Summer, 80s rock icon, performs on August 16, and country band Cornfield Mafia concludes the series on September 20.
