Mondays are For Bluegrass
- Kick off your week with foot-stompin’ fun at Baker Park, every Monday from May through October, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Grab a lawn chair and enjoy free live bluegrass music at the Baker 1 Shelter House.
Fridays are Where It’s At In New Castle
- Fourth Fridays (from June through August, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.) bring Downtown New Castle to life! Enjoy food trucks, live music, extended shopping hours, and special events at local shops.
- Catch a monthly flick during Main Street Movies at The Castle Venue (The Castle Theater) – only $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and free for children under 3!
- Once a month, Live At The Arts Park presents live music, part of the Henry County Concert Series.
- Honor local heroes with a visit to the Henry County Veterans Museum, open Fridays 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – free admission!
Saturdays are for Markets, Motors, and Movies
- Start your day fresh at the Henry County Farmers Market. Every Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–Noon, shop local produce, baked goods, crafts, and more at 14th Plaza.
- On the first Saturday of each month (April–October), from 5:00–9:00 p.m., Downtown New Castle hosts the Broad Street Cruise-In. Enjoy classic cars, food vendors, live music, and community vibes. Free and open to all. Check the New Castle Broad Street Cruise-In Facebook page for updates.
- Catch a movie on Saturdays at The Castle Venue (The Castle Theater). Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and free for children under 3. Matinees are only $5!
- Rev up your summer with exciting races at MT Lawn Speedway on select Saturdays. Kids 8 and under get in free! Check their schedule online for race dates.
- Visit the Henry County Veterans Museum – open Saturdays, 12:00–4:00 p.m. Free entry and open to all.
