To my knowledge, there are only two Garfield Trails in the world, and they are located right here in Indiana – in Grant and Delaware counties. You might be asking yourself, why a Garfield Trail? And why in Indiana? Well, that’s easy! Garfield creator Jim Davis is from Fairmount, Indiana. Fairmount is located in Grant County and neighbors Delaware County, where Davis graduated from Ball State University.
2 Counties, 10 Cities, 27 Statues
Throughout ten cities, there are a total of twenty-seven Garfield statues throughout both Grant and Delaware Counties. Each statue offers a unique theme and a fun photo opportunity and is located in a different location. Garfield may be dressed to shoot some hoops at one location, or ready to read a book at another.
